When it comes to ingrown hairs and splinters, forget the old way of using needles and pins! Care:
- Never drop tweezers. This will dull the tip and throw tweezers out of alignment.
- Clean tweezers after each use.
- To increase spring tension of your tweezers you can gently pull the two halves of the tweezer slightly apart, but once you increased the tension, there is no way decrease it.
- To remove object embedded in skin use the points of the tweezer to isolate and grab the object.
- To remove ingrown hair use one tip of the tweezers to spring out the hair. Tweeze gently in direction of hair growth.
- Always tweeze one hair at a time and in the direction it is growing to reduce the occurrence of breakage.
Tweezing Tips:- Before Tweezing: Take a hot shower or use a warm wash cloth of your face before tweezing, to help with the sensitivity and discomfort.
- After Tweezing: Use a post-tweezing topical solution, such as After Tweeze Soothing Cream, to help reduce redness and irritation.
- To Increase Spring Tension: Gently pull the two halves of the tweezer
slightly apart. Once you have increased the tension, you cannot
decrease it.
