Satin Dark Mahogany with built-in re-constructor is a ultra-fade resistant professional hair dye that is specially formulated with a unique blend of proteins, aloe vera and a rich reconstructive base that leaves your hair looking healthier, shinier, and in better overall condition than before the coloring service. Achieve richer, deeper, truer colors with Satin's micro color molecule technology that can penetrate deeper into the hair shaft depositing a greater amount of color pigment. It is a gentle formula that contains only a 1% ammonia for less cuticle damage and scalp irritation. Satin hair color provides excellent gray coverage from root to tip and can be permanent or semi-permanent depending on the developer used.

Preliminary Patch Test Procedure:- A patch test must be given to your client prior to using Satin Cream Hair Color.
- Preliminary Patch Test Procedure: The preparation may cause skin irritations on certain allergic individuals. Therefore a preliminary patch test is advised. Apply a small amount of the preparation on the inner surface of the forearm or behind the ear, after gently cleansing the area with soap and water. After 24 hours, the treated area should be washed again with soap and water. If no irritation is apparent, you can proceed with the application of color. The test should always be carried out before each application. Satin Cream Hair Color must not be used for dyeing eyelashes or eyebrows.
- Preliminary Test Strand Procedure: Always take a strand test before giving color application to preview final results. Prepare a test solution of the exact shade and developer mixture to be used. From the head that is to receive the chemical service, cut 20-30 strands of hair. Saturate full strand of hair with test solution. Check color after 25 minutes and every 5 minutes thereafter until desired color is achieved. Note timing and use for full application.
First Time Application for hair that has never been colored:- Mix 1 oz. Satin Cream Hair Color with 2 oz. Satin Oxide in a small non metal bowl. Starting (apply to dry or towel dried hair) where hair is the darkest (usually the nape of the neck) then the rest of the hair leaving approximately 3/4 inch of the roots untouched. Leave on approximately 20 minutes depending on shade desired. Then apply mixture to roots for additional 20-25 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with luke warm water. Shampoo with Complete to remove all salon chemicals from hair.
Retouch Application:- Mix 1 oz. Satin Cream Hair Color with 2 oz. Satin Oxide in a small non metal bowl. Apply (dry or towel dried hair) mixture to the regrowth and leave for 30 minutes. Then comb through the rest of the hair and leave for an additional 5-10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with luke warm water. Shampoo with Complete to remove all salon chemicals from hair. Use ColorCare Conditioner to lock in color.
For Gray Coverage:- Make sure to leave the color on the regrowth area for a full 45 minutes for optimum grey coverage.
Do not leave Satin Cream Hair Color on the hair for more than 45 minutes, even in difficult cases. Do not leave on processed ends for more than 5 min.
- Do not use Satin Cream Hair Color on hair that has been previously processed with metallic dyes.
Note:- CL - Cream Lightener is a lifting agent to make other colors lighter. CL - Cream Lightener is not an actual color.
